HumansRobotsFront-End Engineer
Description
You are an early and integral part of the founding team. You're in charge of building our front-end UI, both on web and on mobile web. You will help build and manage a revolutionary web and mobile application. In particular, you will specialize in building responsive and elegant web UIs with AJAX and related technologies, working with our CEO, designer, and our backend engineers. Depending on your other areas of expertise, you may also work on the front end; design of the UI; or other related areas.
Responsibilities
- Own the Front-End web experience end-to-end
- Strong experience developing complex web-based applications for the web and mobile web
- A focus on UI design principles and making sites work intuitively
- Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing mobile products
Requirements
- BA or BS degree in computer science or a related technical degree
- Self-motivated, self-directed and having a keen intuition into what it takes to design and build a successful product
- Expert HTML, JavaScript, and CSS Skills (5+ years preferred)
- An ability to build graceful user experiences with modern AJAX / DOM techniques
- Significant experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript
- Experience with some web development framework(s) [e.g., Java/J2EE, Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, etc]
- Experience in an early-stage startup or other rapid-application-development environments strongly preferred
iOS Engineer
Description
You are an early and integral part of the founding team and in charge of building our native mobile experience on the iOS platform. You will help build and manage a revolutionary web and mobile application. In particular, you will specialize in building a beautiful and elegant iOS application in Objective-C, Cocoa, and related technologies, working with our CEO, designer, and our backend engineers. Depending on your other areas of expertise, you may also work on the front end; design of the UI; or other related areas.

Protocol Droid
Description
You are an autonomous, self-powered and weather-sealed translation droid with at least three layers of firmware backup and fluency in no fewer than two million forms of communication (with focus primarily in the Outer Rim quadrant of communications variants). You will be a critical member of our user communications team, coordinating our efforts through our five present models and having dotted-line management responsibilities for thousands of personal assistants. Due to the nature of your interface with our users, bipedal body structures are not required; and some degrees of central processing offloading to our servers is acceptable. Also, although we believe firmly in the reverse-law of robotics (a human may not injure a robot), we do require that you have a manual-shutdown sequence in cases of extreme emergency.

- Own the communications translations across both earth-based and other Outer Rim-based forms of communication
